A droplet in time...
I was challenged by my friend Audrey Zemke to post 10 pictures on Facebook that bring me joy. Today, I posted a photo of my family in a restaurant. It was one of the last times we were all together with Steve's sister Anne. It brings me joy to be reminded of that meal. A lovely moment in time recorded in a photograph. A droplet in the ocean of our lives. It is also touching because Anne's hair is just growing back after chemo and is about the same length as my daughter Keil

New Year ~ New Life
I am sure that you have seen the grief quotes on wall hangings, posters, FB postings that are meant to comfort. Sometimes they are helpful and other times I question who wrote it and why. I would love to hear from you about the ones that helped. I like the following one. I am not sure who wrote it but I thank him or her. "Grief never ends but it changes. It is a passage but not a place to stay. Grief is not a sign of weakness, nor a lack of faith. It is the price of love."

Honoring loved ones
2020 has been a dismal year for so many of us. Being forced to live in a bubble, jobs lost, health insurance lost, a government that has failed to provide adequate assistance for citizens who cannot pay rent, feed their families, etc. It just compounds the sadness for grievers.
