I was challenged by my friend Audrey Zemke to post 10 pictures on Facebook that bring me joy. Today, I posted a photo of my family in a restaurant. It was one of the last times we were all together with Steve's sister Anne. It brings me joy to be reminded of that meal. A lovely moment in time recorded in a photograph. A droplet in the ocean of our lives. It is also touching because Anne's hair is just growing back after chemo and is about the same length as my daughter Keil

I am sure that you have seen the grief quotes on wall hangings, posters, FB postings that are meant to comfort. Sometimes they are helpful and other times I question who wrote it and why. I would love to hear from you about the ones that helped. I like the following one. I am not sure who wrote it but I thank him or her. "Grief never ends but it changes. 2020 has been a dismal year for so many of us. Being forced to live in a bubble, jobs lost, health insurance lost, a government that has failed to provide adequate assistance for citizens who cannot pay rent, feed their families, etc. It just compounds the sadness for grievers.
