Grief --- it is what it is.
I took my little grandson to the park the other day. Pushing him on the swings reminded me of when we were kids and of course, it reminded me of taking my younger brother Bobby to the park when he was a toddler. I remember pushing him on the swings and teaching him to pump his legs. Then, I thought of the empty swings. Practice Aloha
This week has seen the deaths of David Bowie, Alan Rickman (aka Severus Snape from Harry Potter and a multitude of British movies) and now Glenn Frey from the Eagles. One of my co-workers was really upset about Bowie while another about Rickman---both were 69. Glenn Frey was only 67. Doesn't sound so old the closer I get. So sad. Too many people gone too soon because of cancer or some other gosh darn disease but mostly cancer. Have I mentioned that I hate cancer? As always
